Shuttle Atlantis STS-132 Launch Tour
STS-132 Space Shuttle Atlantis blasted off on May 14, 2010 at 2:19 PM EDT. We were invited by Robert Lightfoot Director of the Marshall Flight Space Center along with 58 other guests to have a very special experience. Private tours, briefings, a reception and then front row seats at the Bananna reek facility 3 miles from the launch pad. It was an experience of a lifetime and we are so greatful for the wonderful opportunity. Go Atlantis!

Our protocol people - Pat Fuller and Tammy Knight and our engineering guides, Bethany and Tom and the Mashall Deputy Director Dr. Shumaker ALL stressed that we should experience the liftoff through all our senses and not just a camera lense. We will be receiving a cd etc.of the whole trip and launch. HOWEVER, BEING ME, I started the Flip Video and let it run while watching the launch - This is what we saw and heard at our seats. Only wish I had the HD version but it still did a great job
